Invisalign

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is the revolutionary treatment which straightens teeth in an ‘invisible’ manner. It is ideal for those who are apprehensive about wearing traditional metal braces. Invisalign provides discrete aligning treatment. Invisalign is similar in discreteness to lingual braces but it has no wires and it also has the advantage of being removable.

What does Invisalign treatment involve?

Invisalign treatment uses a clear set of aligners that are custom made to fit your teeth. These clear aligners are removable and need to be changed every two weeks to move treatment along. Each aligner is custom-made and manufactured for your individual teeth requirements.

As you replace your aligners every two weeks you will notice the gradual alignment of your teeth. Dental software allows dentists to create a 3D virtual treatment plan which will show the course of treatment, enabling you to see the results you will achieve at the end of treatment. You are required to wear the aligners for at least 22 hours a day in order to achieve most effective results.
